Liquid Bulk

Port of Zwolle is ideally suited for the transport of liquid bulk; the accessibility of the docks is excellent. The majority of liquid bulk storage and transhipment is processed via the ports in Kampen and Zwolle. The companies in these ports tranship an estimated 1.5 million tonnes by water every year.

The docks are accessible to the following vessels of up to 2,500 tonnes with a maximum draught of 3,5 metres:

• Va vessels
• Inland waterway vessels
• Short-sea vessels

Port accessibility

The Port of Zwolle docks are ideally located in a logistics hub, where the country's major transport routes intersect. One of our ambitions for the future is to be able to accommodate vessels of up to four thousand tonnes in the Zuiderzee port.

Port of Zwolle is easily accessible not only by inland waterways, however, but also by rail and road. Routes by which goods are transported across the Netherlands, Germany, Europe and the Baltics.
