Rail Transport

The Port of Zwolle docks are easily accessible by rail. Rail is an ideal way of transporting containers, general cargo, dry bulk and chemical products. Zwolle is an important rail transport hub. The Netherlands, Germany, Europe and the Baltics are all within quick and easy access from this station.

Since the completion of the Hanze line in 2012, the Randstad conurbation can also be accessed by rail. As well as excellent connections to the Dutch rail network, the station in Zwolle also offers good access to the road network towards the Northern and Eastern Netherlands and the Randstad conurbation.
